A new idea, to wet your appetite. Attach the stencil to the card with low tack tape and cut the basic pattern out of the card along the edges of the stencil. Glue another colour of paper behind the pattern, which was cut out. Cut certain figures of the pattern out of this paper, but make sure that along the edges of the basic pattern a small strip of the cut-out paper remains visible. This strip should at least be 1mm wide, but may also be wider. Then glue a second colour of paper behind the pattern and cut the same figure or other figures. This time a second small strip will be visible around the basic pattern. Continue gluing other layers of paper and cutting out until the desired result is reached. |

Everyone can paint! You do not need great talent to paint artistic projects with Shadow Painting from Lalinea. The patterns can be traced with the help of a light box and a free flowing shadow liner with which you trace the design onto special Shadow paper. Let the lines dry for at least 15 minutes and then colour it in with Shadow paint (there is a choice of 13 colours plus gold and silver). Always start with the light colours and use darker colours to paint in the shadows. Once the paint is dry you can roll away the Shadow liner and reveal the paper underneath. A symphony of colour and line. There is a dutch book by Marianne van Bekkum entitled "Nieuwe ideeën met Shadowpainting" in which you can find out how to get special effects. NEW!!! Decorative laser cut paper ornaments for you to use in photo albums, greetings cards and much more. Easy to adhere with glue sheets. There are 18 different laser cut silhouette sheets available in ivory colour and it is easy to make a decorative card with these delicate motifs. Instructions: Cut through the binding bridges with fine pair or scissors or a sharp knife. Make a nice combination on your card. Lay the pieces to be used between a Letraset Studio Tac sheet (11492/0001 A4 or 119492/0002 A5 format). Press on the top layer with the yellow burnisher enclosed in the package so that the minute glue dots adhere to the pieces. As there are so many small cut out areas in these shapes this is the best way to apply glue to them. Finish the card off with stick on jewelled stones etc. |
With the help of a silhouette stencil (112307/1101 till 1115) cutting silhouette shapes and (dutch) text out of paper is easy. Place the silhouette stencil with blue non-permanent tape on to the paper and cut the figure out or draw the figure with a pencil and then cut it out afterwards. Use a cutting mat. Adhere your silhouette onto contrasting coloured paper or backgroundcard. Combine with the 4 special cutting papers with nice borders (117141/2201 till 2204) and design your own greetings cards. The stencils can be used to make pop-ups or for embossing or stencilling. |
